Despite persistent GPU issues where stock is collected as soon as it appears, Nvidia is expected to release three new graphics cards in January. Now it looks like the cheapest of these, the rumored Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050, will come in two versions, giving customers a choice of how much to spend.

To be clear, this is an entry-level card designed to counter Intel's new Arc Alchemist GPU and upcoming AMD Radeon RX 6500 XT rather than higher-end models.
But beggars have no choice in today's world of GPU shopping, with older, lower-performing cards being phased out as a stopgap solution for shoppers looking to upgrade their gaming setup. These cards are flying off the shelves and selling well above their MSRPs, is there any hope for the GeForce RTX 3050?
